Amplifier circuit diagrams

Band 2 Preamplifier

This is a VHF amplifier for the Band 2 Radio Spectrum tuning approximately 88 - 108 Mhz.

SW Aerial Amplifier

A radio frequency amplifier to boost SW reception. Frequency range approximately 5 to 20 MHz.

30 Watt VHF Amplifier

The 30 watt amplifier schematic shown below provides an appropriate power boost with an input of 4 watt up to 6 watts. The circuit is designed to cover 88-108MHz FM Broadcast Band.

Q- Multiplying Loop Antenna

This circuit is designed to be used in conjunction with the standard 4 foot square loop used in MW for long distance reception.

Medium Wave Active Antenna

This is a compact three transistor, TRF receiver with fixed feedback. It is similar in principle to the ZN414 which is now replaced by the MK484. The design is simple and sensitivity and selectivity of the receiver are good.

UHF Preamplifier

This circuit is designed to work at UHF frequencies in the range 450-800MHz. It has a gain of around 10dB and is suitable for boosting weak TV signals.
